SPEED QUEEN
8'6"x 21"x 2 7/8" 54 litres
some people spend thousands of dollars going to exotic locations chasing exotic waves and fail to invest in the most important thing and end up taking a knife to a gunfight. I have been shaping for almost 50 years now (48 to be precise) and I still love designing this style of surfboard.... when you line up all the criteria and start ticking off all the boxes
has to have a fin configuration that will hold on the face.... tick
has to have a strong and beautiful outline....tick
has to be loose but still maintain good drive through tried and proven bottom curves....tick
has to carry as much volume as possible(without being a tanker) for paddle power when the energy levels get low....tick
has to have a tried and proven bottom contours to maintain good speed through sections....tick
has to have enough width to be able to perform in smaller surf if need be....tick
has to be a "speed queen"
